Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology is a two-year Diploma Level program ideal for the students who have taken Biology as the subject in intermediate. To get admission in DOTT, the aspirants should have the passion for serving the mankind through Health Care Services. Admission to this course is strictly based on the result of Entrance Examination followed by Interview.
This course enables the students to get themselves trained in various aspects of maintenance of management of Operation Theatre like preparation of Operation Theatre, Maintenance and Sterilization of various equipment as per the requirement, assisting the Surgeons and taking care of patients as per the guidelines issued during and after the Operation. For performing the functions of OT Assistant, the incumbent must have some basic skills that includes-Good Listener, able communicator, ability to lead besides planned and organized way of executing the tasks during and after the operation.
